An iOS app for trying on hairstyles, color, and makeup. I built the mobile client from camera and on-device checks through image prep and local generation state.
Catch bad photos on device
Face detection drops shots with no face, several faces, or a face outside the frame. No paid request goes out.
Crop and shrink before upload
A 2:3 crop around the face, capped at 1024 x 1536, keeps the upload small.
Keep generation if the app backgrounds
SQLite and local files keep pending, ready, or failed if the app backgrounds or the network drops.
